Castles in the air

Thanks to ReBang for an extraordinary video from Front Design. This shows furniture being 'drawn' with light pens, and then fabricated.

In other words, the designers simply run their hands through the air around the shape they imagine. The light traces from the pens they hold are somehow converted into a 3d drawing, and this is fabricated in a 3d printer. As ReBang says:"it beautifully illustrates the rapidly dissolving barrier between thought and physical thing".
